Delete Contact API not working


i am trying to delete contact with API and it keeps giving me error "errors":[{"code":"not_found","message":"User Not Found"}] , i double checked about the id i am passing and it is correct. i also check for this error code but didn't find anything in the documentation

Are you using the user's Intercom ID? Or the custom ID assigned by you? It would only work if you use the ID assigned by Intercom, you can find it by using the Contact Search API.

Hi,

I’m running into the same problem, even when using Intercom’s ID. The users can be deleted through the web UI, but through the API I’m getting a User not found when trying to delete or trying to get them by their contact ID, but they’re being listed when I do a query that includes them
