Sending data to Custom Objects

Hi,

New to IC and have set up a Custom Object.

My thinking was first to push data to the Custom object from our Bubble app as soon as the data changes in the Bubble app. However, according to https://www.intercom.com/help/en/articles/6298280-setting-up-a-custom-objectthere's no API yet to use for pushing data from my Bubble app to IC, right?

So, I guess I need to create a Custom Action that then can be used in a Bot to in real time retrieve the data need?

Best, Peter

Hey @peter n12! Oséas here from the Customer Support Specialist team 🕵️

That's correct ✅ At the moment, there's no endpoint available to update Custom Objects via API. That's something our team is working on, and it'll be coming soon. In the meantime, you can update Custom Objects by setting up Custom Actions with a GET request that, when used in Bots, will map objects from the response body to attributes in Intercom. You can find more about Custom Actions here.
