Is there a way to split recipients of a series so each group receives a different message?

I'd like to split recipients in a series to receive slightly different versions of a message. It's not a test, per se, and I'd like to send a follow-up message for each version of the first message. There's no criteria for who gets which version of the message, it'd just like to split it evenly.

So, an A/B test of the message doesn't seem to be the answer, since I can't tie the follow-up message to the specific version of the first email. A split test block seems like it would do what I want, but I don't want to upgrade just to test it out.

Any ideas?

Hey @amy c ! I am afraid a split test is the only possible option. Otherwise, you need to manually add the tag to the users and based on the tag send the follow-up message. For example, if 100 users would enter the series, you need to tag 50 users with tag A and 50 with tag B and then send the message based on the tag. But this is a bit manual process.
