Events - Does Intercom automatically save user log data by default?

We register user events in Intercom. However, we would like to have some additional user data:

  • IP
  • operating system
  • browser
  • geolocation

Does Intercom already capture this data? If so, can we extract a report with this retroactive information?

We don't have a built-in feature to grab a user's IP address. Per our Privacy policy and our Law Enforcement Request Guidelines we are not able to provide any sensitive information from our database without a subpoena. To access this information, you would need to provide a subpoena, which can be sent to legal@intercom.com. We do track OS, browser, and geolocation. You can see the full list of data we track here! In terms of reporting, are you looking to track the number of users with specific values of these attributes? Our reports are pretty geared towards conversations, but you can Segment your contacts and export that way. For example:
