Hi everyone!

 

New Intercom user here. Any tips, tricks or resources that you recommend I use as I'm navigating the product and setting everything up for the first time?

 

I've already uploaded a list of our users, added the JS snippet to the product and set-up the Messenger tool. My next phase is looking at using the existing tags and creating some new ones so we can trigger the right messages for when we have net-new or returning users log in to our platform.

 

I'm thinking of using:

  • Post for the Welcome message
  • Product tours for onboarding net-new users
  • + setting up a Series for those who created an account but didn't add their credit card info (which will include a custom tag).

Hey Sabrina, are you sending events from your product into Intercom? If not, I highly recommend doing that to enable contextual messaging throughout the customer lifecycle. Check out this guide on event data and let me know if you have any further questions!
