I'm not a developer so this be already be possible, but is there a way to edit the Subscription ID in Stripe? We are finding that some users have the wrong Subscription ID in their accounts and there is no (according to what I found) way to resync or

Hey @user643​, Stripe would be the source of truth here, so Intercom is dependent on the information being sent from Stripe. Do you know what might be happening in Stripe to send the wrong subscription ID?

Hi @eric f11​! Long story short (and again, this is from a non-dev pov) our API just went through a major update. In the past, when a user purchased something from our shop, a new customer would be created in Stripe with the same email. For some reason, certain users have that account as the one connected with their Intercom user account, which means their subscription information is not correct.

 

Does this make sense or help?

Thanks for the elaboration, @user643​! Can you open a new conversation in the Messenger and I'll pick this up? I'd love for you to share some examples with me so I can understand the scale of this problem and figure out why Stripe is linking the "new" accounts with a user profile in Intercom.
