In our test instance, we imported 50 users with the same ‘Company ID’.
We are able to filter our all users under ‘Company ID’, but a Company was not created when user import completed.
Is this expected behavior? Our end goal is to import 10k users and have their Companies auto generated.
We’re currently migrating from Zendesk and trying to replicate the Organization hierarchy structure.

Hi @Matthew Chin
In this case, I would also recommend trying a third-party app, like Help Desk Migration. The app can help you transfer all contacts and companies into a CSV file without any data limits, or you can move these records directly from Zendesk to Intercom. This way, you'll maintain all relationships and replicate your organization hierarchy.
Additionally, you can migrate other records like tickets, agents, groups, and knowledge base data if needed
Just to add on to Mateusz’s answer. If you want to send company information over to Intercom you’ll need to send that information via our REST API or by including it in the Intercom JavaScript installation snippet that you use in your app.
