If an exit events happens after a push message is scheduled for a certain day of the week to send via a series, will it send or will they exit and not receive it?

I have a push notification that I want to send on the Sunday 7+ days after an event occurs. I have an exit event that could happen at any time.

 

My scenario: So a user enters the series on a Friday. It waits 7 days which puts them on the next Friday and it schedules the message to send on Sunday (2 days later). On the following day, Saturday, the exit event happens. Will they be removed from the push sending? Or will they still get it because it was scheduled? I want it to not send FYI.

The user would need to be active at the node in the Series while being online for the push to trigger. If the user exits the Series before the message is sent, they won't be able to receive the message, even if they've been scheduled to receive it.
