Example of Zendesk articles within the Messenger?

Hi there! 👋

Is anyone using Help Center in Zendesk and Intercom to communicate with customers? I would like to know what the app looks like in the messenger if your articles are in the Zendesk. If I have understood correctly, it would be possible to insert an app in messenger that lets your customers browse articles within a messenger. But does it look like the same as Intercom´s own Article app? If someone knows an example of that kind of solution, would much appreciate 🙏

Hey @pia ! You can import help content from Zendesk's public help center, and this Article does an awesome job of explaining how to import your content with just a few clicks.

You can also use our REST API Articles endpoint to create articles, if you're able to export your current help center into a format that can be used with it.

There are a few limitations to keep in mind when using the REST API:

  • We don’t support custom templates or front-themes
  • We don’t yet support nested lists, but if you have that type of content, it won’t prevent importing. Our content review workflow will walk you through how to fix any content that’s not supported
