Is there a way to remove “step 1 of 5” from the product tours? In some cases we would like to show the steps and in other cases we wouldn’t. Just wanting to know if that’s an option.

Currently, there isn’t a way to remove the text on the Product Tour that lets the end user know what step of the Tour they are on. I’m happy to flag this as a feature request. Can you give me more insight on why you wouldn’t want this information surfaced for your end user?

We would just like the option in case it’s a long tour. I understand tours are meant to be short and quick, but we have some new releases that need a little extra guidance and we don’t want to overwhelm the users and seeing that it’s 5+ step tour.
