Even if the message itself is only a couple of words long, the email signature and other embedded links significantly expand out the email. Is there a rich-text view which makes these images viewable, or a plain text view which strips these out entirely so that we can focus on the content in the message?

Hey @nina h, our Inbox isn't really optimised to view HTML, which is why you're seeing this long string of text. There's currently no way to switch to a rich text or plain text view. I'd be happy to log this as a feature request for you via our @Product Wishlist group.
