Hi there!
Not really an Intercom question, this is something that is best handled by your website provider or by setting up SEO.
Both Squarespace and Shopify have it built in. If I remember right, Wordpress should have this function as well.
When it comes to Intercom, you will not see them unless they are engaged manually or by a bot if they aren't logged in. You can find this on their profile overview as well as in their details:
To know who is on your site and where they are from, you can check such info at Google Analytics. Google Analytics tracks your website visitors, showing details about their location, the pages they visit, and how long they stay on your site. You can set it up for free by creating a Google Analytics account and adding a tracking code to your website. I did the same practice to check daily traffic of my website https://tiroalpalotv.es/.
