I tested this on both android and ios and it seems to me that setting languageOverride on android doesn’t work whereas on ios it does. I tested this on both platforms with same userChanged language from english to french on androidRestarted app and help center was still in englishChecked that user in intercom and language override was still englishI then changed language on iosChecked that user in intercom and language override was now frenchRestarted Android app and both apps now show help center in french We are using React native 

I’ve been thinking about how customer support teams manage queries for content creation tools, especially those with a large non-technical user base. Free apps seem to generate a lot of repetitive questions like exporting issues, performance on different devices, or how to use certain editing features.From a support perspective, this raises a few questions:How much of these queries can realistically be handled through automation (chatbots, guided flows, etc.) without frustrating users? How can I set up the Product Tour where it only happens on 1 page?I’ve set up the Product Tour where it should only appear on a specific URL, however, in the preview, I noticed it starts in other pages even after I finish the entire tour or skip it from the previous page. It seems to start with every new page I navigate to.

Hi guys, I recently integrated intercom in our app React Native app running Expo 54. @intercom/intercom-react-native (^9.6.3). I noticed whenever I build on EAS, calling present() or presentMessageComposer() opens two instances of the messenger bottomsheet in our app. Doesn’t happen whenever I try to build locally using prebuild tho. Has anyone encountered this before? 

Right now, the ‘Call missed by …’ detail only shows in the conversation event log (when enabled), but it can’t be used as a reporting dimension.Please add a reporting attribute so we can chart ‘missed by teammate’ and see how many calls each teammate missed in a period (e.g., this day, week etc), instead of it looking like the person who answered missed them.Currently if i use the reporting metric “Team Missed Call Count” then use any of the graphs other than “KPI” it is listing the person who answered the phone call as the person who had missed the calls on its way to that person.

We are using the trial version with Expert capabilities to assess if Intercom suits our needs. We want an AI agent to embed in our software products. This agent should provide level 1 support based on documentation content. If the agent cannot help, it should hand off to our Support and Product Team in Jira Service Desk by calling a data connector to create a new ticket via the Atlassian API.The challenge we face is that there seems to be no way to set a Title and Description or copy the conversation into attributes for the data connector.Is there a way to achieve this? We are not going to use Intercom Inbox, as our support team only will interact with our customers via Jira Service Desk.  using Message Body, just the first user´s message is returned, other attributes from Conversation category doesn´t seems to be working for a data connection. 

Hi,I have written a data connector that will clear all logged in sessions from our own system. This works fine and fin uses it correctly based on the description in the data connector.However, since this will log the customer out, is there a way to get FIN to ask the user for confirmation before running the data connector?Example conversation:Customer: I cannot login, the phone app keeps trying to login, failing and going back to the login prompt.Fin: OK, I can try clearing our data cache, this will clear all logged in sessions? With Intercom Android SDK, we call Intercom.initialize in the Application sub-class.We only login a user when they login to our app. On our login screen, we have a button that should open an intercom help article. We just call Intercom.client().presentContent(myId) when the user clicks this button.Recently, this leads to “Something wen wrong. Try again” message. Logging in and logging out fixes the problem.My question is: Is it required to have a registered user (perhaps an unidentified one) before calling presentContent()?

I’m using a Custom Action with some Datetime elements.Whenever I have empty element I send the response back to Intercom using something like this:"0000-00-00T00:00:00+04:00",When I test the Custom Action, the “Test response” brings back exactly this Datetime format, and it gives me a 200 OK.Same for “Data transformation” and “Object Mapping”, all OK.However, in production, we are getting several errors. The Intercom Logs of this Custom Action suggest the Mapping is not happening (when the request and response are 200 OK). The only different data I saw between a Log with a mapping and a Log without the mapping was an “empty” Datetime, like the one above. What’s the proper way of sending an Empty Datetime? 

We have an integration that posts comments to tickets via POST /tickets/{ticket_id}/reply using an admin user. We've noticed that when the ticket is unassigned, Intercom auto-assigns it to our integration's admin. We'd like to undo this by setting assignee_id to "0" via PUT /tickets/{ticket_id}, but this also clears the team_assignee_id -- even though we're not passing team_assignee_id in the request body.Two questions:1. Is there a way to unassign the admin_assignee_id (via assignee_id: "0") without also clearing the team_assignee_id? Our PUT request only includes assignee_id, but the team gets removed as a side effect.2. Is there a way to set team_assignee_id via the API after a ticket has been created? We've tried including it in the PUT /tickets/{ticket_id} request body and get a 200 response, but the team assignment doesn't actually update on the ticket.  We're using API version 2.14. Any guidance would be appreciated.

In the instance where you have resolved a clients original question, and they reopen the ticket after a number of days/weeks with an unrelated query, what is the most efficient way (least number of clicks/typing) to take their latest query and have this log separately?The advice from before () seems outdated as Linked tickets are now grouped into Tracker, Back-office, or Side, which this doesn’t seem to cover (unless I’m misunderstanding the use cases).Thanks!

We're experiencing an issue with iOS SDK where AI agent responses are not immediately visible in the chat interface. When a user sends a question and the agent responds right away, the message doesn't appear on screen unless the user navigates back to the dashboard and returns to the chat. This same issue previously occurred in the Android SDK but was resolved with a version update. I attached a video of it. We are using 19.4.1 swift package version.

Hi Intercom team,I’m integrating @intercom/intercom-react-native into a React Native 0.81.4 + Expo (prebuild) Android app, and I’m seeing an issue where new messages are not delivered while the Intercom conversation screen is open. They only appear after I navigate away and come back.What I’m seeingI open the Intercom Messenger from my app (using Intercom.present()). I start a conversation and stay on that conversation screen. From the Intercom workspace, I send a reply to that user. Nothing appears in the conversation UI while I stay on this screen. If I: go back to the previous screen and reopen the Messenger, or sometimes background and foreground the app then I suddenly see the new messages. We are currently attempting to test deployment of Fin for Zendesk Messaging and are encountering some issues where the Zendesk messaging widget is blank. We have tried multiple audience configurations with no luck.Why is the widget blank despite seemingly meeting the audience conditions and the deployment of Fin being live? Example of a conversation log in Fin of this:   When someone does not match the audience for Fin, shouldn’t they still experience the Zendesk Messenger/AI Bot or are they completely locked out of any messaging experience?

After starting a conversation or sending/responding in an email thread within intercom, is there a way to see it actually in the “sent” folder within outlook? I feel as though I cannot confirm if all my messages are actually being sent or leaving from my email address. I don’t like not being able to access outgoing messages from within outlook if they're sent from intercom but using the same email address..? Does anyone have any insight on this?
