Hi Intercom Support Team, We’re intermittently seeing issues with the Companies Scroll API (/companies/scroll) in production. Our integration fetches over 100,000 company records, and while it often works, it occasionally fails with scroll_exists ("scroll already exists"). We have verified that no concurrent jobs are running on our side when this happens. We also implemented retries with long delays (up to 5 minutes), but the same error can still persist. Based on your docs, we expected scroll sessions to expire after 1 minute of inactivity, but in these cases that does not appear to happen. Because this is intermittent, it can be difficult to reproduce consistently, but it is recurring enough to impact our pipeline. Could you please investigate and advise on possible causes or recommended handling?Best RegardsUsama

A customer would reach out about a partnership and our Fin would rightly answer and suggest the customer reach out to partnership@, how sometimes the customers would then CC that email in the current conversation and Fin would not stop replying to both the customer AND someone from our company which looks bad. Is there a way to have Fin stop replying to the conversation if a customer CCs someone else? The only path I can think of is an escalation rule that would route to a human whenever someone asks about ta partnership, so Fin won’t even answer. 

Using Intercom as a wishlist Our team is looking for a way to collect feature requests and feedback from our users. We have used third-party apps in the past, but we want to stray away from them for a number of reasons. My idea is to use Intercom for this. Our users would be able to select an option 'I have a wish/feature request' and build a workflow around that. My question to the community is: does anyone have experience with this?  I am looking for tips, best practices and advice. The most important key points are:Convenience Users should easily drop their ideas with our team Overview Ideas/feedback/requests need to be grouped and segmented Automated Minimal teammate interference. Fin and automations should do all the work Public roadmap and public ideas are not what we're after.Open to your suggestions 😄

I believe Fin is great when it answers from connected docs, but it gets a lot better when it can see what happened before the user opened chat. I am looking at three ways to make it more proactive:page/URL targeting in Workflows event-based triggers and real-time session context written into internal notes The real difference seems to be whether Fin only gets a trigger, or whether it also gets the product activity that explains what the user was actually trying to do.Curious how others here are handling this: Are you using URL rules, events, or session notes? What’s been most effective in practice? Any tips for keeping the thread readable while still giving Fin enough context?

Hopefully I can describe this as simply as possible to see if this is expected or if anyone has run into this.I have an escalation rule set and live for audience A. I have batch testing setup in the test section and for each batch I set an audience B-H, one at a time or a single one (doesn’t matter). But batch testing is never tested as audience A. For any batch test that I run for any audience B-H, the escalation rule is triggered, meaning that it automatically escalates so that I cannot test my content or other guidance. I must turn off escalation rule for Audience A, test in the batch section as Audience B to get my answers, and then turn on escalation rule for Audience A. This does not seem like desired behavior.If I just skip the batch testing and test directly in my product via the messenger, the Escalation Rule is not triggered and works properly.Does anyone know what could be causing this? I have a workflow set up as follows:If the customer has been unresponsive for 30 seconds → Snooze (4 hours) → Closing message → CSAT → Close.The issue I’m facing is that when the snooze timer ends, the conversation is assigned to another teammate (e.g. Bryan) before the closing message and subsequent actions are triggered.For example, Anthony handles the conversation for 10 minutes and then snoozes it. When the snooze ends, it gets assigned to Bryan (because Anthony at assignment limit/ away status). The bot then sends the automated closing message and completes the closing actions. As a result, Bryan’s handling time shows as 0–10 seconds (depend how long it takes for the bot to take the subsequent actions), even though he did not actually handle the conversation. However, he is still included in the report because the conversation was assigned to him. Hi everyone,I’ve been working on integrating the Intercom Messenger into a custom web application, and I’ve run into a specific technical hurdle that I’m hoping the community can help with.I am currently using a delta vietnam setup to execute some background scripts and handle task automation within the site's environment. While everything works perfectly on the desktop version, I’ve noticed that when this executor is active in a mobile web view, the Intercom Messenger launcher fails to initialize. It seems like there might be a conflict between how the script executor manages the DOM and the window.Intercom boot sequence.I’m seeing a couple of related issues as well:I'm not sure if the asynchronous loading of the script executor is competing for resources with the Intercom snippet, or if it's potentially masking the user identity variables needed for a successful boot. We just signed up for statuspage and would like to keep our statuspage private and only expose it to users in the messenger. It looks like the integration only supports public pages. Does anyone know of a workaround? 

We’ve recently added the Linear integration with Intercom. In our day to day use of it we have noticed that there does not seem to be a way for any comments from Linear to come appear as notes in Intercom. I understand MCPs are the recommended way to have comments come through, are there any other options to have comments come through? There are hesitations with connecting through MCPs and I’d like to see if there are other options worth exploring. Thanks in advance for any help/advice.

At present Fin has a wide gap between confirmed resolved conversations and assumed resolved conversations. Our Help Centre articles are updated, it’s usually regarding more complex or personalised queries. Whilst some of the assumed resolved conversations are resolved, a lot of them are not. Is there a way to add in another follow up from Fin to check the resolution state and thus giving the user more time to respond to these. Moving forward it could be helpful to have inactive conversations to be escalated to a teammate so that the 'Assumed resolution' conversations can be automated within a workflow. From what I’ve been looking into it seems that a workflow on a customer being unresponsive can only start after a teammate reply rather than from a bot reply. When trying to set this up as an Attribute to route assumed resolved conversations to a teammate Fin just seemed to pass conversations along without trying to resolve them first.Any advice here would be appreciated - thank you!

When a Banner is active in Intercom, teams should have the option to make its content available to Fin as a knowledge source. When the Banner is paused or deleted, that content should be automatically removed from Fin's knowledge base without any manual steps.The problemBanners are commonly used to communicate important product changes, outages, or announcements. In practice, many customers dismiss or skim banners without fully absorbing the information. Curious how others are approaching Monitors and scorecards in Intercom since the release. What types of conversations are you flagging? How are you structuring your scorecards? We are using the trial version with Expert capabilities to assess if Intercom suits our needs. We want an AI agent to embed in our software products. This agent should provide level 1 support based on documentation content. If the agent cannot help, it should hand off to our Support and Product Team in Jira Service Desk by calling a data connector to create a new ticket via the Atlassian API.The challenge we face is that there seems to be no way to set a Title and Description or copy the conversation into attributes for the data connector.Is there a way to achieve this? We are not going to use Intercom Inbox, as our support team only will interact with our customers via Jira Service Desk.  using Message Body, just the first user´s message is returned, other attributes from Conversation category doesn´t seems to be working for a data connection. 

Hi,I have written a data connector that will clear all logged in sessions from our own system. This works fine and fin uses it correctly based on the description in the data connector.However, since this will log the customer out, is there a way to get FIN to ask the user for confirmation before running the data connector?Example conversation:Customer: I cannot login, the phone app keeps trying to login, failing and going back to the login prompt.Fin: OK, I can try clearing our data cache, this will clear all logged in sessions?
