In-app notifcations into conversations

Hi

Currently the in-app notifications do not post to any tables that we can sync via Fivetran. I seem to recall it was possible to add these to the conversations data and tag them there, but I can’t seem to find documentation on how to achieve this. Any info or help in getting the app notifications data into our data warehouse would be super helpful

To sync in-app notifications data from Intercom into your data warehouse via Fivetran, you currently need to work around the lack of direct support for this feature. Although Fivetran supports robust data replication from Intercom, in-app notification data isn't explicitly mapped to conversations or other syncable tables by default.

Here’s what you can do:

Tagging Notifications in Conversations: If there's a way to link in-app notifications to conversation events, consider tagging these notifications within Intercom conversations. This tagging could make them retrievable through synced conversations data.

Custom Solutions: Leverage Intercom’s APIs to fetch notification data. You can then integrate it with your data pipeline manually or through a custom script, storing the relevant data in your warehouse for analysis.

Consulting Support: Reach out to Intercom or Fivetran's support to confirm any recent updates or recommendations on syncing this type of data effectively.

For more information, check Intercom's API documentation or Fivetran’s
