This has been asked before but I truly hope it’s been addressed by the Intercom team as this is a reason to switch providers if not! 

Can you schedule replies in the Helpdesk to send at a later time?

We don't have such functionality at the moment. You can send a Message at specific date and time but you can't send a scheduled replies.

You can set up an automation that will be triggered only in certain hours of the day (i.e. outside of you office hours) though.
