Assign ticket attribute to a ticket in workflow.


I was looking through the workflow builder and I am not seeing a way to assign a ticket attribute in there. Basically what I would like to do is assign conversation to specific team and then convert that into a ticket and then set a ticket attribute value for that ticket. I am not seeing a way to do it in the builder but wanted to check here if there was any tips or tricks other people have used.

To my knowledge, it is not possible to set ticket attributes via a workflow. I’d also love this, and might be worth finding this same request, or adding one in the Product Wishlist area! There’s this existing idea there with 10 upvotes:

I think it is possible.

1- Make sure all the teams are created and assigned members to them

2- Go to the Settings - Conversation data, and create the attribute you need

3- Go to the Workflow section of Intercom and access the workflow you need to amend. You will be able to the "Assign” button, then “Set conversation data" (where you will select the attribute you previously created).

4- Convert to ticket
