Do the custom attribute key-value pairs go in window.Intercom or window.intercomSettings snippet? In one part of the documentation it shows it going in one and then in another section it shows it going in the other.

How do you plan to/How have you installed intercom on your website? I believe these are showing differently as they are 2 different methods of installation
