We need to automatically send some conversations from the Custom bot to Gmail.

 

We have set it up via trigger. Whenever the client chooses the specific option for a custom bot, we ask him the details, and then we are closing the conversation and assigning the tag.

 

As a next step, we have set up in Zapier, that whenever this tag is applied, we send the email to Gmail. The problem is that not the whole conversation is being pulled, in the body field only the very first line of the conversation is being pulled. How to make it to pull the whole content of the conversation?

It's likely that the fields available to Zapier only include a specific part of the conversation, maybe not the bot pieces. The bigger, and perhaps obvious, question though is why are you trying to send messages to Gmail vs just replying to them within Intercom? On the surface, it doesn't seem like a practical application. Is there a specific problem this is solving for you?


Thanks for your reply! Yes, some questions from our clients should go to another team that isn't added to Intercom but using Salesforce instead. I have received a reply from Intercom, and it seems like the only way to achieve that is to make a subsequent request to Intercom REST API to retrieve the entire conversation.
