I had issues with IG integration - messages did not appear even though all the connection and permissions were correct. I decided to uninstall the app to install it again. Now it says that I need to buy a premium account. How is this normal when IG is a free app based on what Intercom says.

Instagram is a free app, that’s true, but Intercom is a way to interact with this app, and it has its own set of features that are not available if you are using Instagram natively.
That’s why it is additional paid add-on.
