Article "page not found" soft 404 is effecting SEO ranking

We have a few URLs from formerly published articles that are redirecting to the page not found.

Screenshot 2023-02-23 at 11.48.52 AMThe problem is that Google is indexing these pages and they're effecting our SEO score. Is it possible to have this customized or changed so it doesn't throw a soft 404?

Has anyone else encountered this? Is the solution to not have Google index the help center pages?

Unfortunately, after you unpublish an article, it can take some time to Google re-index these pages, and that's not something we can control. The ability to create redirects from your Help Center settings is something that I've heard customers asking before, and this would also be a solution for the SEO issue. I'll make sure to give it a bump on our @Product Wishlist. Thanks for sharing this with us!
