Changing internal article to public

When I import an article from Notion to Intercom, I use the import option of Intercom. It does a nice job, but the imported article is “internal”. How do I change it to “public”?

Hey there @Gal Ben David, Emily here from Support Engineering at Intercom 👋🏼

There is currently no way to convert an Internal article to a Public one. You would have to create a public article with the information from the Internal article.

Hope this helps 💪🏼

Hello Gal!

Intercom currently only supports internal articles when syncing or importing from Notion. Public Articles can only be added to the Intercom Help Centre or synced or imported from Zendesk.

In this instance you would need to add your articles: Knowledge Hub - New Content - Public Article.

Hope this helps! 😀

I successfully imported a complex article from Notion.
But since it comes in as Internal, I can’t add it to my Help Center.
So I guess I need to somehow change it from Internal to Public.

The only was I can do this is to copy the entire article (command-A) and paste it into a new public article.
Surely there must be a better way than this?
Otherwise, it is difficult to import from Notion if the import is to be Public.

Do you have any other suggestion?

I guess the answer I’m looking for is, how do I change the status of an article, from Internal, to Public?
