How can you make links stay in the same window from Articles?

Can you make links open in same window within articles, instead of forcing them to open in a new tab? (they all get generated with target=”_blank)

Links that are on the same domain will stay in the same window, if the link leads to a different domain it will always open up in a new window. You can test this in our Help Center by clicking the links under What’s next? at the very bottom of this article to see how we've set that up 👇

I believe the request should be the ability to toggle any link's treatment, on whether it opens in new tab vs same window vs new window. I can see use cases for each. Thank you!
