How do I update an email in a series without doing it manually?

Hi all,

I hope you can help.

I created a number of outbound email messages to enable us to reuse them across different campaigns.

When i made the series, I use the feature ‘Copy existing message’ feature which i then used to add the various rules.

I made some changes to the base email messages and wanted those reflected in the series - but i can’t see a way to do that without manually editing the email in the Series rather than a way to sync an update etc.

Is there a way to update a series by changing the email copied? Or do i have to update every series manually?

Hi @Murat Mutlu 👋 Eden from the support engineer team here.


When you copy an existing message into a Series, all of the content and rules will be copied into the Series. However, changes to the original message will not automatically sync changes to the Series copy! Once it has been copied to the Series, any changes you would like to be made to that email will need to be updated there.
