We are experiencing a high level of agents reporting that Intercom is extremely slow and keeps crashing when selecting/sending replies. Any advice would be really helpful. Thank you.

I just had a look at the Intercom Status page but it doesn't appear there are any known issues currently.
You may want to check if there's any localized internet issues in the area where your support agents are located or the region.
It could be good to check in with the support chat for direct support from the Intercom team if it persists to be sure it's not an issue with your instance specifically.
