Can I prevent replies to closed conversations?

Is it possible to not reopen closed conversations?

Currently, in the "Control your inbound conversation volume" settings, if I set "Prevent replies to closed conversations" to 0 days, I am unable to create a new chat in my test environment.

Is there another way to prevent conversations from being reopened?

Hey @danielle m11, as per @denis t reply, this should work as expected, even with 0 days as the cut-off point. Are you able to test this in your production workspace? It could be an issue with the [test] workspace.

@eric f11 I am not having the same issue in production, I am able to start a new chat even if it's set to 0 😊

But if I close a conversation, that is not reflected to the user, it looks like the conversation is still open & the user is able to continue chatting. Is this normal?

Hey @danielle m11, that shouldn't be the case, the conversation should show as closed on the user's end. Is it a new conversation, or a reply to an auto-message?
