While Creating a product tour, I noticed that when trying to assign a pointer to a pop-up window, that when trying to add the descriptive text in, it will not allow you to type anything. Even adding a post instead will not allow text to be entered into the description as long as the pop up is open.

Hi @Taylor Wise -- Cam from the Intercom Support Engineering team here 👋

Does your site use “focus trapping, and if so, have you tried adjusting the "focus trapping" settings in your site as detailed in this article HERE?

If you're building your Tour and it includes accessing a pop-up window/modal, "focus trapping" can cause some issues in the build stage like making it impossible to type content in the tour steps (as you’ve seen here) and/or being unable to select elements within the modal to use in subsequent steps. Turning "focus trapping" off while you build the Tour should help with this.

This only impacts the Tour builder and not the way the Tour will be displayed to customers. While building the Tour you’ll need to have “focus trapping” off, but as soon as you’re done building and the Tour is ready to go “Live” you can re-enable “focus trapping” and the Tour will be unaffected when shown to the end-user.

Give this a try and let me know how you go 👍

Thank you! We were able to get this resolved with your answer.
