I am looking to use the bot and our online articles to develop a workflow triggered when a new user logs in or a user who hasn't completed the articles logs back in. I'm relatively new to Intercom. Is there a guide to assist me with this?

I'm also open to other ways of doing it so I welcome comments if you have suggestions!

Outbound Messages can be great to help with onboarding! With Series, a form of outbound messaging, you can create an entire flow of Chats & Posts, Mobile Carousels, Product Tours, Custom Bots, Emails, and Mobile push messages targeted to the right points along a user's journey.

 

We do have a built-in template just for onboarding, which I'd highly suggest as a starting point.
