Macros recent usage tracking range

Hi! When managing your macros, under the title it displays how many times it's been used recently. Some macros display how many times it's been used in the past 30 days, while others only display up to the past 7 days.

  1. What determines how far back it tracks?
  2. Where can I view how many times a macro has been used for even longer periods of time, or custom date ranges?

Hi @user975

  1. The tracking is determined on when the macro was first used. If the macro was first used more than 30 days ago, the 30 day metric is shown, if it was not it will show 7 days.
  2. You unfortunately can't view how many times a macro has been used for a period beyond the 30 days, as the only two available metrics are 30 and 7 days.

If you're looking to use this for reporting, definitely try out Roy's tag method.

Hope this helps. 🙌

Hello @user975 ,

How about use tag's in your case? You can add Tag in the Macros and then filter reports based on different tags.

Tag's don't have any specific time range limit, so this will allow you to see more detailed report.

I hope this will be helpful.

Thank you for the details @roy s11 and @user1030 ! We do use tags as well, but not for all of the macros. We were just curious about how the display metrics works and why they were sometimes different.
