This is information that is needed to set up a Stripe account, since Stripe by nature is dealing with payments. I'm afraid there isn't anything that Intercom can do to alter their sign up process, since this is done through their platform. I would suggest reaching out to their support team here!
Thank you Racheal! We've been investigating and it seems this issue is because our Stripe user is not an Admin. We're trying to update our permissions on the account 🙌🏽
