Via Jira for Intercom, is it not possible to sync Intercom ticket status to Jira item status (Intercom → Jira)?I know you can do Jira → Intercom. I just assumed in the Intercom Workflow editor you’d be able to wire up the same going the other direction, but I’m only seeing 2 actions that can be performed in Jira? Create Issue and Create Comment?

Users cannot dismiss surveys by tapping the close button and must complete the survey to proceed. Swiping down to dismiss still works.  Steps to Reproduce:  1. Initialize Intercom with valid credentials  2. Trigger an Intercom Survey (programmatically via presentContent:surveyWithId: or via auto-targeting)  3. Hi everyone,We’re currently using Tags as our main way of classifying conversations in Intercom (e.g. product area, issue type, billing, cancellations, etc.). It’s starting to feel a bit messy and hard to report on, so we’re considering moving to a small set of Conversation Attributes instead, and using Tags only for campaigns/one-offs and stuff like that.I’m looking for advice from teams who’ve actually done this: How did you decide which things should be Attributes vs Tags? Which Attributes do you find the most useful for reporting (e.g. issue type, product area, plan tier, outcome, churn reason)? Did you make any fields mandatory before closing a conversation? If so, how many before it became annoying for agents? How did you handle the transition period? Did you backfill old conversations or just start from a certain date? As we all know, it’s very time consuming to keep help center articles up to date with screenshots. New features get released, UI/UX changes and support teams need to scramble to keep up.To assist with this task, I’m looking into ways to automate the generation of screenshots from my company’s mobile app (on both Android and iOS). The idea would be to systematically “scrape” every screen that a user can interact with in the app to produce an organized catalog of screenshots that my team can simply reference and plug into help center articles as needed.Does anyone know if any 3rd party tools exist which might help with this task? Android API 36 is ignoring the orientation configuration. The Android SDK is fixing the orientation as portrait. Intercom tickets created via the Ticketing API are stripping markdown formatting from submitted content, including line breaks, lists, and code blocks. As a result, structured technical messages become difficult or impractical to read, particularly when reviewing code.This issue has been raised by multiple users on our side and materially affects support workflows for technical teams.(This message can be deleted, as I’ll instead submit as an Idea). 

Currently, there’s no way to download/export a side conversation. As a workaround, I tried copying the whole side conversation thread & then saving it as a PDF. However, that doesn’t seem to work on longer threads. Only 4 or 5 of the replies in the thread actually get copied into the PDF. We’ve tested on Mac & Windows, & the behavior is the same. We’ve also tried pasting the copied thread to Google & Word docs, but it still behaves the same way.At the very least, we need this functionality fixed so that we’re able to copy & save longer side conversation threads to a PDF. In addition to this, we need the dates and times of each reply to be shown in the PDF. Ideally though, we need a way to export side conversations.

Hi everyone,We’re using Fin with an escalation rule that hands the conversation off to a human when certain conditions are met.Right now, when escalation triggers, Fin sends the customer a fixed handoff message that repeats word-for-word across conversations. The phrasing doesn’t match our support tone of voice, and it feels robotic.Is there a way to control or customize the customer-facing text that Fin sends at the moment of escalation/handoff?

We are sending messages using Intercom’s REST API and after completing a task on our platform side, we would like to inform the customer that:“The team will get back to you on this. Our usual reply time is 1 day. You'll get replies here and to email@example.com.” (sent from William’s Admin ID)However, this causes an unintended side-effect with our auto-assignment rules.Because Intercom treats this as a teammate reply, the conversation is immediately marked as “Waiting on customer”. We auto-assign conversations based on “waiting longest”, so this causes these conversations to be de-prioritised and skipped, and they will only be picked up again if the customer replies.As a workaround, we currently: Do not send a message to the customer, and instead Use the API to unassign the conversation and move it into a manually monitored inbox where it auto-assigned and picked up. This avoids breaking the assignment logic, but it leaves the customer confused because they receive no acknowledgement

I’m seeing an issue with a “blur” overlay being left on top of the conversation window when Intercom loads after calling [Intercom presentMessageComposer:NULL] or [Intercom presentMessageComposer:@”text”]This only happens when building on XCode and only when running on iOS 26. Any other combination (e.g. XCode 16 on iOS 26 or XCode 26 on an older iOS version) worksFeels like a race condition in the loading logic perhaps? Hi Support,We are investigating an issue with our Salesforce integration where data is not persisting for new users, specifically regarding a race condition between the Salesforce Sync and the JS SDK boot method.Our Setup: Integration: Official Salesforce App. Matching Logic: We currently match on Email. User Creation: Users are created via the JS SDK (Intercom('boot')) when they first log into our portal. The Scenario: Time T1: A Contact is updated in Salesforce. A mapped custom field (salesforce_resource_access) is populated. Time T1 + 5 min: The Salesforce Integration triggers a sync. Note: At this moment, no User exists in Intercom with this email address. Time T2 (Days later): The user logs into our web portal. Time T2 + 1 sec: We call Intercom('boot', { email: ... }). The user is created in Intercom. Hi everyone,My team is trying to refine our reporting, and we’re running into an issue where our "First Response Time" metrics are being skewed.We are trying to measure the speed of our agents picking up a chat specifically after Fin hands it off.However, we often have scenarios where Fin closes a chat without human interaction. Then, a few days later, we might manually check in on that user or follow up on the closed conversation. Currently, the reporting counts those intervening days as "wait time," which makes our response metrics look inaccurate (showing 2+ day response times for chats that were actually closed).Does anyone have a workaround or a specific filter setup that isolates "Active Fin Hand-offs" vs. "Manual Follow-ups on Closed Chats"? Hi all, we use the Stripe integration from the Intercom App store, and I’ve found some cases in which not all of the Stripe data is populated when a subscription is created. Looking at the affected record in Stripe, I can see the event logs that reference data sent to Intercom but there are no errors present and the request body matches other Intercom users that DO have the subscription data. Is there any logging from the Stripe app in the Intercom marketplace where we can try and troubleshoot this? The best answer I got from Fin was “turn it on and off again” which might be the solution, but I’m hesitate to try that given how central this integration is to us.
