Some features not working on website (Beacons and Posts)

Hi, I have intercom set up on our website through GTM. The messenger is in the bottom and you can interact with it. I have banners working. But… when I go to set up a Beacon (tool tip) or a Post it won’t show up on the page. Any ideas? thanks

Auto scroll on Safari

Hi!It seems that there is an unwanted scroll behaviour when opening and closing intercom on Safari when there are messages in the message board.It is easily replicable on your codepen’s test app: codepen.io/intercom/pen/QGqWxwOpen the link on Safari, scroll to the middle of the screen, open intercom, write a couple of messages, close the intercom and open it again, it auto scrolls up.I’m a developer and I have this bug reported by our customers. Using Views in Compose issue

Webhooks Not Triggering for Non-Admin Events

We have a webhook subscription setup for our app that is set to trigger for the event conversation.rating.added. An app user is having issues as it’s only triggering for a bot admin that they’ve setup. When other folks on their team receive a rating, those do not trigger a webhook. Is this the expected outcome? The authenticated user has admin permissions, the assumption was that they’d have visibility over the entire organization.

Side Conversation Visible to Client

Hi All,We’re testing Intercom’s Side Conversations feature on the Advanced plan and ran into a situation we didn’t expect.Here’s what happened: Agent 1 was actively chatting with a client in a conversation. Agent 1 started a side conversation (via email) with Agent 2 to ask for internal help. Agent 2 received the email and replied via their inbox (outside of Intercom). That reply appeared inside the original Intercom conversation (expected) AND was visible to the client (unexpected). A few hours later, the client could no longer see that reply (it seemed to disappear). We were under the impression that replies to Side Conversations via email are kept private and not shared with the customer, so we’re wondering: Is this expected behavior? Was something misconfigured in how we sent the Side Conversation email? How can we ensure these responses never surface to clients again? I’ve attached a screenshot for context. Role bases brand restrictions

I’m wanting to set up different brands so when a client emails a specific email, it assigns to that brand, and it’s that email that is the default email. My issue is, I’m wanting to set role or individual restrictions on who can reply to certain brands. Im not find any help articles or post about this. Is this possible?

Mobile carousel dismissing automatically on app start for logged-in users – React Native, Expo

We're experiencing an issue where the mobile carousel feature gets dismissed automatically on app start for logged-in users. Our app is built with React Native and Expo.To isolate the issue, we tested with a minimal project containing only an empty screen and Intercom login. The issue does not occur on the first app launch (since Intercom login hasn't been triggered yet). However, once the user is logged in and we send a carousel from Intercom, reopening the app causes the carousel to briefly appear before getting dismissed.We also ensured that Intercom login is only called on the first launch, as a support ticket suggested that calling it repeatedly might be causing the issue. Newbie question using socials and new conversations

Hi there, I am starting with a very simply implementation. We are only using Facebook through socials to start (no web or mobile implementation.) We have a workflow that I want to run whenever someone opens a new conversation with us. I don’t want it to run the workflow for that person again until we close the conversation. Our workflow asks some basic questions and then assigns the conversation to me. I want to them communicate manually with the lead and then once I am done I want to close the conversation, and the next time they message us they get the workflow again.Thank you!

[Android] Navigation on article screen

If we click to “Help” and select one of articles, we see in navigation bar only cross button on Android and if we click on it intercom will close. Also if we click to system back button on article screen intercom also will close. For example on iOS we have two navigation buttons on article screen, back button and close button.Is it possible to change the behavior for the cross button on Android so that it returns back to the article selection or add a back button like on iOS?

intercom-react-native not working on Expo SDK 53

Memory leak in iOS SDK (18.7.3) when presenting Messages?

Hello! We recently integrated Intercom into our iOS app (currently using Intercom 18.7.3 SDK for iOS). As I’ve been monitoring the releases, I have seen in the Xcode Organizer → Metrics → Memory a BIG spike in our app’s memory use. We have changed little in the app itself since integrating Intercom, so my investigation of the memory spike focused on Intercom.I started with the simplest exploration: use Instruments with the Allocations tool, Mark Generations, and see what happens. In my case, I tested our invocation of the Messages UX. Workflows exporting and reimporting help articles

Prevent Fin From Resolving Conversations

Hi, I had a quick query but can see any answer or similar query. I want my custom answers used only. It seems I may need to activate FIN Ai which is fine, but I dont really need it to resolve my customers queries for me, I would like to know if there is a way to prevent Fin from resolving conversations?

Webhooks for checking Linear tickets

Hi Team,Is there a way / specific webhook one could use to subscribe to events when a Linear ticket is created from an Intercom conversation? I was unable to identify any specific one - as far as I can tell the only way to check from Intercom side is to loop through the conversation parts looking for the note signifying the connection.Thank you in advance!

Exporting Intercom Conversations in JSON to Amazon S3 missing Channel Data

Hi, When i export intercom conversation data to s3, it is missing the channel data, but the Channel data is missing but the Intercom docs says this should be included (see Available data points - https://www.intercom.com/help/en/articles/2046229-export-your-conversations-data). Enabling Multiple Survey Response Triggers for the Same User to Slack via Webhook

I am reaching out with a query regarding the Slack and Intercom integration for Studio. We have encountered a case wherein, when a user completes a survey multiple times, the response is sent to Slack only once, despite the survey data being available in Intercom.This behaviour appears to be due to the webhook setting, where we have selected the option Enter once, first time the person matches the rules.It seems this may currently be a limitation that survey results can be sent to Slack only once per user per day. I would appreciate hearing your thoughts on this matter.

[Android] Crash when displaying in-app notification

Hello,We started to see a new crash in our production app since bumping the Android SDK to version 16.0.0. We've tried bumping it to 16.1.0 but still see this issue. It seems there's something missing in the layout of one of the in-app notification types which is causing this crash.Would you be able to take a look into this, please? Messenger intermittently fails with "Somethings's gone wrong, content could not be loaded" (iOS and Android)

Hey everyone,I'm running into a frustrating issue with the Intercom SDK (iOS and Android) and wondering if anyone has seen this before. Ever since switching to the Intercom SDK, I've noticed way fewer support requests coming in. At first I thought maybe that was a good thing, but then users started emailing me directly saying they can't access support through the app.The error they're seeing is "something's gone wrong. Content could not be loaded" - both in the messenger and when trying to view help articles. I've attached a screenshot from one Android user. The weird thing is that if they sign out and back in, it starts working again temporarily.I initially suspected JWT validation issues, so I disabled that completely for both iOS and Android, but the problem persists. When I contacted support about this, they suggested it might be network issues, but that doesn't make sense to me since signing out/in fixes it for that specific user.The really annoying part is that the SDK doesn't se

Bug: Conversation Search API not returning expected data for boolean rules

Noticed an issue with the conversation search API, specifically on boolean fields when coupled with the != operator.For example the below query (even when run from the “Try it” button on the docs page) returns the same exact response as when using the = operator.  POST https://api.intercom.io/conversations/searchBody: {    "query": {        "operator": "AND",        "value": [{      "field": "read",      "operator": "!=",      "value": "true"    }]  }}I tested with different value types (string, boolean), other boolean fields (ex: open), as well as with “false” values. Ticket Comment Notifications - Subject Line Contains a Blank Value ''

I’m using the API to create and manage tickets, and seeing some unexpected things in the auto-email-notification subject lines.The steps I’m following:Create a ticket via the API. Type: Tracker Ticket. It properly appears with my title and description. (Notifications skipped). Assign that ticket via the API. (Notifications skipped). Add a comment to the ticket via the API. For this step I’m not setting skip_notifications to true, so a notification does get dispatched.The problem is that the subject line of that notification is: Re: [Company Name] [Assignee Name]: ''The empty single quotes indicate that it should be possible to get something to appear there. I’d love to be able to display the ticket title, or the contents of the comment that caused the notification, or pretty much anything other than ‘’.

Lead is not updating through API

Hi,  So I’ve been working on setting up my account and I’m stuck at this for over a week now.  I’ve got a lead form and these leads are being sent to Intercom, with custom lead data (attributes) such as event date and event type. This is all sent through zapier and Intercom API.  However, when a lead already exists, it’s not updating the lead with these custom attributes. All API work, I get the right 200 response, I do not get duplicated leads and so on. Mapping is all correct and we tested via Postman and via Intercom test enviroment, here it all works, yet sending real data via Zapier to Intercom does not update the lead.  We’ve checked with both support teams and lead data is sending through zapier to Intercom. However Intercom support mentioned they do not receive the body call, while the zapier logs show this is being sent correctly.  What is going wrong here, is this just a bug? I can’t believe no one is using the API on zapier to update lead profiles. I’ve spent 10 hours + ever
