I would like to link my translation tool (Deepl) with Intercom's support chat, but I would like to know a better way to set it up without having to go through a third party app.

@user1410​ if it's the content, then as far as I know, you can try to develop an app in-house to see the content of the ticket, and translate it using the API of Deepl

 

I would also consult the rest API documentation firstly to make sure that it can work like this before investing your time into it.
