My trial period is over and I was not still able to assess if the feature is working. I followed all the tips: I wrote the articles with specific key words and pushed manually the article to visitors.

Your customers and teammates will start seeing smart suggestions right away, as soon as you have more than 10 articles live in your Help Center. Did you have the feature turned on for users, leads, and teammates? I do want to also note that your Help Center needs to be turned on, you can find this in your Help Center settings.
