How to trigger the same bot from several buttons on the same page | Community

I am trigger a bot from a button on our website. We have several buttons on the same page that should trigger the same bot. However only the first button is triggering the bot, all buttons have the same attributes that we are triggering on. i e the same queryselector. Is it possible to make it work on several buttons?

At the moment, only one button per page will trigger a Custom Bot, so if you have multiple buttons they must be on separate pages. It would be great if we could trigger it from multiple buttons in the same page so I'll add this to our @Product Wishlist​.

 

As a note when we release new features we'll announce it on the Product Changes page 💡

@peter l15​ workaround would be to create duplicates of the bot, so you have as many bots as you have buttons and connect each one to the corresponding button.

Is there a better work around for this? Any product updates?
