Need to recover an old conversation from a customer as I'm investigating a claim, this was cleared so I cannot find it. Is there a way to retrieve this?

Is this customer archived or permanently deleted?

(Archived users are not permanently deleted)

 

If you permanently delete the user, Intercom will save data for the next 7 days (according to the Intercom help doc).

 

The best way here will be to contact Intercom support ASAP.

To avoid such cases in the future, you should set-up roles per team member or department.
