Hey Super Users! Got a question.

Hey Super Users! Got a question. My team is taking a “Team Week” where we’ll have very limited support hours. We ALSO have about 40% of our incoming support coming through direct emails routed into intercom that don’t get automatic responses. I’m not seeing any automation options to send a macro or something. Is there any solutions for notifying people writing in by email that we’ll be out of office and response times will be slower?

(I’m aware of the Intercom messenger solutions and are covered there, just want to cover the other incoming email routes we get in and immediately respond with a macro letting them know our response times will be slower.

Just found out I can do this with Zapier, and a tag automation!

@user2284 I'm interested in how you did this...I've been looking for a similar solution for our incoming emails when we're out of office. Any insight is appreciated!

@christy w Looks like Intercom built this out already in a beta feature in the settings. You can set email auto-responses now!
