Hi, when I click on my custom launcher, messenger animation creates black background for a second or so.
Is there any way to change this behavior? So the background is the app, not black background.
Or maybe I can open the messenger as a separate screen?
Is it possible to use js api methods on react native?

What you're seeing here was an intentional change made by our team, and at the moment, this cannot be altered. We've had a few reports around this behaviour being undesirable, and I can confirm that our team are working on a future release to patch this 👍 I don't have an exact ETA, but do keep your eyes on our mobile repositories for periodic updates!
As for the JS API methods - yes, I believe these should work with your Native app 🙌
