How can I pass the conversation id automatically to the end users?

Dear community.

 

I'm opening this thread to have the following checked.

 

I want to use the conversations ids as protocols ids, and I want to pass this id automatically whenever the end-user opens a new chat with my team.

 

I have set a custom bot (from new conversations) and I tried to find the conversation id on the following list:

But I wasn't able to find this option.

 

Could someone give me a workaround for this? Whenever my end-user opens a new conversation, I need to pass this id automatically

Hey @rodrigo m12​ ! It is not possible to add the conversation id as an attribute in the bot path. Can you elaborate a bit more on your use case? Is there any specific reason as to why you would want to insert the conversation id?

From my side, as the Conversation ID is unique to the convo, and using it (by pasting the ID into the URL), I can directly locate the convo belonging to the ID. This makes the Conversation ID a very useful ID to provide to clients, who can then reference it when talking about a past conversation.
