Do you have a URL you are hoping to send customers too? If so, you should be able to insert your custom URL as an unsubscribe URL when building out your template. More on custom templates here! The only issue you might run into is that you'd need to disable the unsubscribe link via our UI and that would prevent you from emailing users non-transactional Messages.

So the answer is "no, you cannot use your own unsubscribe link in most cases; you can only do so in transactional emails", correct?
This is quite disappointing, adds a big burden on our technical team. I'm puzzled as to why you'd allow a custom unsubscribe link for transactional emails but not series/marketing automation emails.
Totally fair feedback John, I'll flag this with the team as well. Just to clarify- it isn't so much that you can only use a customized link with transactional but not with non-transactional, it's that in order to use a customized link you would need to disable the built in unsubscribed link.
These messages are much more promotional or related to marketing, and are different from transactional messages as customers need to give their consent to receive them, so you do need to include an unsubscribe link in these kinds of messages. When disabling the unsubscribed URL we don't know that you are now adding your own- which is definitely room for improvement on our end!
Hi @Racheal - is there any update on this functionality from your side? we’re having the same issue as John.
The lack of this basic feature means we’re sending tens of thousands of fewer emails monthly than we otherwise would.
