So, my requirement is that I want to start a series for a user when a tag is added to them. Let’s say I add the tag user-email-not-verified, and they get added to a series (which will walk them through the steps to verify their email) However, I’ve not been able to figure out how to do it yet without using events. Can anyone please help.

Could you just use the tag as your entry rule here?
This way when the user is tagged they enter the Series.
