Localisation issue - language_override is not working with. "intercomSettings"

I am trying to change the Posts message language to french and using "language_override" as "fr" and its not updating it. Please find the attachment. Could some one please guide me what need to be done here.

I am able to change this using Intercom("update") API. where as found an interesting thing is its works only in messenger content where as if i disabled "Show the Messenger launcher" (attached pic) in Posts messages its still show with English content. is this a bug?
