Intercom genuinely remains the most formidable customer engagement software globally, but I’ve found that teams sometimes miss out on its full potential if it isn't perfectly tailored to their workflow right out of the gate. If your mind is firmly made up, however, you can close the account by following these steps:

Navigate to Settings > Subscription > Billing.

Select Payment details at the top.

Scroll down and click Cancel subscription.
