How to exclude specific domains from article view counts

I would like to exclude specific domains from article view counts. The Articles report shows total views without granular filtering.  I want to separate internal vs external views in the data.

The use case is that authors of an article might look at that article many times and I want to exclude them from my article count for the week.  Please advise how to do this.

Hi @Ana Henry , hope you're doing well.

From what I know, it’s not currently possible to filter article view counts by domain or exclude specific domains in Intercom’s Articles report. The report includes all views, including repeated views from the same person or potential bot traffic, and there’s no built-in way to separate internal from external users.

You can limit who can see the articles, for example only logged-in users or people matching certain attributes, but that doesn’t affect the reporting data itself. Programmatically triggered views are also counted, and there’s no way to distinguish or remove them from the report :/
