Hello guys!

We installed the app "lokalise for Intercom" now we ran a issue. We are a german speaking comapny. We want to expand to spain. The translation works just fine. But the incoming messages are translated to english. We need them translated to german. The Anwser can be wrote in german, it will be translated to spain, there is no problem.

An idea how we can set it up?

Thanks!

Hey! 👋 As the app is installed, your operator language is set to English (en). In case your team base language is different, you need to adjust this by sending !operator command in any of your Intercom chat's notes. You may specify multiple languages your team speaks, start with the main one (that's the language we will translate into and from).

All the following languages you specify further will be considered as those, not requiring translation. For example, if your team speaks German, English, and Spanish, the command would be !operator de,en,es

So all incoming messages will be translated to the German language and your German messages translated to the target language.

Please check "Lokalise for Intercom" article for your reference.
