Hi Super Users, has anyone noticed a drop in in app post open rate %? Our open rate for in app posts used to be upwards of 95% (as the messages pop up without requirement to 'open'). From September 2021 it dropped to below 80% and I'd love to know how I can fix it. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks.
There is a bug that often prevents posts from showing if there isn’t a URL rule. I solved this for us by adding a URL rule to each post (or each rule block directly before the post). Seems to have started a couple months ago, so not sure if that aligns with your timeline, but it led to a dramatic decrease in open rate for us.
I also noticed a significant drop in our open rates. This occurs in both series and outbound messages and I'm also looking for a solution 😥
Try adding a URL rule (such as URL contains a slash) which should solve it if the issue is the same as what I encountered.
@juliana b yep, same here for series and outbound messages. I'm going to try adding the URL rule suggested by @user423 - thanks for taking the time to respond. I will let you know if it helps to boost open rates.

I believe this is very dued to your public. I have problems with e-mails, the open rate for this is around 3 or 5% only.
Posts are great for us, around 90%
Be aware that sometimes sending too much messages can be a problem.
