How to record who clicked/downloaded the PDF file on Intercom article.

Hi, I am Yasue from a Japanese software company. I want to share a PDF with the customer in the article and then I want to record who clicked/downloaded the file.

Does anyone know how to do it?

Thank you.

As a workaround, use Bitly to gather click data. You can create a free account, which entitles you to 50 bit.ly links per month.

Hey @eisei Racheal from the support engineer team here👋

Currently, we don't have tracking for clicks that happen with an Article. I'm going to flag this as a feature request for the team to consider implementing down the road since I can see how this would be great information to have!

We do have a Google Analytics integration that can work with Help Center articles to provide you some more insight into how Users are using your articles. However, I don't think that tracks those clicked links either. It might be something worth exploring though if you're familiar with that tool! It's possible that Google might track that info. 🤞
