Why is my bot closing conversations right away?

It's supposed to be after 3 minutes of no action, however, while testing the bot and choosing an option, the conversations get closed.

Another problem, the bot doesn't show up on my phone but ist does on another person's phone.

Hello @rebeca , Welcome to Interconnect 🙂

Q - Why is my bot closing conversations right away?

A - When there are no actions to do, the bot will close the conversation. That's why you during ending you should assign the conversation to a team or teammate. Can you share some screenshots of your current config? I will be happy to take a look.

Q - Another problem, the bot doesn't show up on my phone but ist does on another person's phone.

A - Is it an outbound bot or bot from a new conversation?

For outbound bots:

There can be several reasons, I think you already get an outbound message one time. Custom bots are sending outbound messages one time per visitor or user, that's actually who bots are working. So I'm suggesting clearing browser cookies or visit your website via Incognito mode.

Please share a bit more details, provide some screenshots to better understood your case.

Let me know if you have any additional questions, happy to help.

Best,

Roy
