How do I remove the messenger from certain pages ?

I'm in messenger settings trying Current Page URL does not contain "theurl.com" but the messenger continues to show up.

    To remove the messenger from certain web pages, you need to do so from messenger settings or by removing the messenger launcher code from that webpage manually.

    Under the General section, select the messenger preferences dropdown and set a rule for the pages you wish to remove the messenger from.

     

    For example, if I wanted to show the messenger on pages that contains the keyword "bots" but no other pages on my website I could do the following:

    Messenger settings -> Messenger preferencesThe rule you have posted in the description seems like it should be working fine. Could you make sure you're actually on that domain and not on www.theurl.com or another subdomain?
