Hello All, My name is Stephanie and I'm an Intercom newbie who is excited to learn as much as I can. I am the new head of customer success at Blanket, a task management app built for multi-unit restaurant operators, and we just added Intercom to our web and mobile app. We're beginning with customer support, creating direct communication channels, and product tours, but as we learn more, we'll use it for lead generation too.

 

I would love to connect with other restaurant or food service industry companies using Intercom. Cheers!~

Welcome to Interconnected! Great to see another hospitality app. I'm with posBoss, a suite of hospitality tools, including PoS, Mobile ordering and paperless dockets. We're based in Australia and New Zealand.

Amazing! Thanks for the connection comment @brent w​. I'm so glad to see other industry folks in here. We are based in New York City but support restaurant clients across the US currently. We're still a start-up with a small team, so Im hoping Intercom will help us support more clients more often. I would love to hear how your team is using/loving it!

Nice one!

We've been with Intercom since we first started about 8 years ago and we love it. We use it to manage leads from our website and have it tied into our web app so we can surface a great deal of information in Intercom to better support the users. We love using outbound emails/posts/banners etc and have just set up our first series (which are awesome). We have product tours running through our web app and linked to buttons on the site and we use bots for both users and visitors. I've written about 200 articles and we have some integrations - Cadet for feature requests, Stripe and Facebook integration.

That was more two write than I initially throught :)

So great to hear! Thank you for sharing; I'll be sure to tap your shoulder if I have a question or two. So far I've written 26 articles in our first week, so I'm on my way! That seemed to be the easiest place to start; I'm exploring product tours now... once we have all the user support in place, I'll pivot over to leads. Cheers!!
