Source Documentation from Courses/Academy/University | Community

Hey friends, unsurprisingly enough - after reaching out to our clients for some feedback, Fin is their favorite education tool that we have - which we love! That being said, I’m trying to get MORE source documentation into Fin to reference and suggest - specifically, our University Courses (hosted in Northpass/Gainsight) - what’s the best way to go about this, so that it indexes correctly and really does become more helpful!?

Also, would love to get community knowledge into the mix as well?!

That’s awesome to hear your clients love Fin! To make your University Courses more useful within Fin, you’ll want to ensure the content is easily crawlable and well-structured (Click here). Try linking your Northpass/Gainsight courses through accessible URLs or API integration, and include clear titles, metadata, and descriptions so Fin can index and reference them accurately.

@jimmyharris1 - curious if you’ve got an example of what that might look like?
Clear Titles, Metadata, Descriptions?

Hey Malachi! 🙌 That’s awesome to hear Fin’s a hit with clients. For adding University Courses so they index properly, the key is making sure the content is structured in a way Fin can read—think clear titles, sections, and consistent formatting. Using the API or webhooks to push the content directly usually works best, especially if you want it to update automatically when new courses are added. Also, tagging or categorizing the content can help Fin suggest the right docs at the right time.
